Thanksgiving dinner schedule, every timer ready in two taps
For dinner at 4 pm with a 12 to 14 lb turkey, put the turkey in at 11:30 am. The sides all go in while it rests.
A turkey is the one dish that does not run to the clock, so the day has two starts: Add "Turkey 12-14 lb" to Kitchen Timer and start it when the turkey goes in, then Add "Thanksgiving dinner" to Kitchen Timer and tap Start all when the turkey comes out.
The second button holds the rest of dinner: five timers, each 45 minutes long, that tell you when each dish goes in, so everything is ready together 45 minutes after you tap Start all. Start it earlier or later and the whole dinner moves with you.
How to start: tap a button on this page, then Add. A meal goes to Meals: tap Load, then Start all on the board. A single timer goes to Presets: tap Start. The clock times below count from the moment you tap Start, not from when you open the link. If a timer stops and waits at a step, tap ✓ when you have done it: the next step counts from your tap, so a late tap moves that dish later.
The day before: pumpkin pie
Bake the pie at 425°F (220°C) for 15 minutes, then at 350°F (175°C) for 40 to 50 minutes, until the edges are set and the center wobbles slightly. Cool for 2 hours, then refrigerate. One timer does all three steps. Add "Pumpkin pie" to Kitchen Timer

The turkey is not at 165°F when it rings? Keep roasting and check every 15 minutes. Start the dinner meal when it comes out, and dinner is 45 minutes after that. A bigger or smaller turkey? Find its time on the turkey timer and move the 11:30 start earlier or later.
The sides
- Stuffing: bake in a covered dish at 350°F for 30 to 45 minutes, until the middle reaches 165°F (74°C). The timer rings at 30 minutes. If the middle is not there yet, give it 5 more. Uncover for the last 10 minutes for a crisp top.
- Green bean casserole: bake at 350°F for 25 minutes, stir, top with fried onions and bake 5 more minutes.
- Mashed potatoes: 1-inch cubes, 15 minutes once the water boils, then mash with warm milk and butter.
